FT232R Modules

A range of modules based on the FT232R IC are now available from FTDI and its distribution channels. These new modules include USB - RS232 converters, DIP modules and a mini-module only slightly larger than a USB connector.

These products allow customers to quickly evaluate the FT232R device and drivers prior to commencing their own design.

DLP Design - DLP-TILT

The DLP-TILT USB-to-accelerometer module incorporates the FT232RL USB UART into its design and has four primary applications:

vibration analysis
tilt sensing
AC signal analysis
two-button mouse pointing device alternative

The DLP-TILT is provided with demonstration software using FTDI's Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers.

The DLP-TILT is available on-line from the FTDI Chip Shop, directly from FTDI or through the FTDI worldwide sales network.

Mini-B USB cables for use with the DLP-TILT are also available from the FTDI Chip Shop.
