Co-Installer

The FT2232 is a composite USB device which is capable of providing two COM ports to a system. To ensure that the ports of the FT2232 device are allocated COM port numbers in the correct order (i.e. port A is allocated before port B) under Windows 2000 and XP, a co-installer is used. The co-installer is specified in the following sections of the FTDIPORT.INF file:
