The VMUSIC module uses FTDI's Vinculum VNC1L-1A embedded USB host controller IC with a VLSI VS1003 IC to allow playback of MP3 and other audio files directly from USB Flash disks.
The VPLAY application allows commands to be sent from a PC USB port via a TTL-232R-3V3 USB - TTL level serial cable to the VMUSIC module, such as Play, Skip Forward, Skip Back, Stop and change the volume.
