FTDI's FT2232C, FT232BM, FT245BM, FT8U232AM, and FT8U245AM are JEDEC MSL Class 3. This is specified as 192 hours at 30ºC and 60% relative humidity.
The bag can be stored unopened and undamaged for up to 12 months at <40ºC and <90% relative humidity.
Devices require baking if:
| • | The humidity indicator card is >20% when read at 23ºC +/-5% |
| • | The bag is open for over 48 hours at <40ºC and < 90 % relative humidity |
If baking is required devices can be baked for 24 hours at 125ºC (+/- 5ºC). This level is defined by EIA JEDEC standard JES022-A112.
