Why can't I install VCP drivers for my FT2232C?

The EEPROM has been configured for D2XX drivers.  To change the EEPROM setting, use the MProg utility from out Utilities page.

 

With the CDM driver, the EEPROM settings can be overridden using the USB Serial Converter property page.
