CleO50 launched to extend range of smart TFT displays
We are pleased to announce
the production launch of ourCleO50 module, the 5" version in the series
of smart TFT displays. In addition to the increased size,
this module features a larger PCB which has allowed for
the addition of 2x mikroBUS™ interfaces from MikroE,
which provide access to a wider range of expansion cards
(Click Boards) thus further extending the project
potential with additional sensors and control boards
beyond that already provided by Arduino shields. The
device also benefits from an
FT900 replacing the previous FT903, which allows
further extension of interfaces available, and an
FT812 replacing the previous FT810 to increase the
level of colour support offered.

FT260 series further extended to include new
IC and corresponding modules
In order to continue providing engineers with
comprehensive support when implementing USB into their
embedded systems, we are pleased to announce a new IC
and two new modules to the FT260 series of HID class USB
to UART / I2C Master devices. The UMFTPD3A programmer
module is designed specifically for use with the
company’s development hardware and ICs containing either
internal one-time programmable (OTP) memory or eFUSE
logic (which are both used to store USB vendor ID,
product ID product description data, etc.), namely the
FT260 and FT4222H offerings, while the UMFT260EV1A
module is a compact, easy to utilise development module
for the FT260 series which will present engineers with a
valuable resource for adding connectivity to human
machine interfaces and other computing peripherals.
Additionally, the FT260S extends the series offering to
include a 28-pin TSSOP packaged version of the IC that
will make it more convenient for pick-and-place
procedures.
