FTDI Chip offers a complete range of PCB boards and sub-assemblies based around FTDI chips. The modules are available in a range of formats to support various applications, including: development, pre-production, and in some cases end-product integration. These hi-quality modules, shorten development time and provide engineers with implementation alternatives to meet their system and project requirements.

  • CleO Modules
CleO brings to market a family of intelligent, simple to program TFT display boards through which engineers can develop imaginative, compelling human machine interfaces, regardless of their experience level. There are two modules available within the series: CleO35 and CleO50, featuring 3.5" and 5" display sizes respectively.

  • NerO Module
NerO is a reference design for an Arduino UNO compatible board based on the FTDI FT231X USB UART, delivering 5V at a full 1A without overheating.

  • FT51A Modules (Note that this series is now under EOL and is not recommended for new designs)
The FT51A is an 8051-compatible 8 bit MCU supporting many different IO's ideal for data acquisition and control applications, and also includes a USB device and hub port, not often found in 8 bit solutions. To ensure great quality design support FTDI offer a range of development and application modules providing easy access to all the interfaces and features of the FT51A.

  • FT9xx Modules
The FT9xx is a range of 32 bit RISC MCUs with fast interfacing enabling super bridging capabilities across many technologies. To ensure great quality design support FTDI offer a range of development and application modules providing easy access to all the interfaces and features of the FT9xx series.

  • EVE 2, Embedded Video Engine Modules
Building on the success of the first generation of EVE devices, the EVE 2 module family has extended FTDI Chip's display offering with a plethora of improvements and extended capabilities.

  • SuperSpeed Modules
A range of hardware modules designed to develop with the FT600, FT601 and FT602 series of USB3.0 ICs from FTDI Chip.

  • EVE, Embedded Video Engine Modules
The EVE module family of Human Machine Interface(HMI) systems are developed to address development, prototyping, and end- product needs. The user has numerous options from which to choose including; systems with or without displays; in an encased, elegant plastic enclosure or in stand-alone format, and finally; a complete HMI subsystem or an easy to integrate add-on display system.

  • Raspberry Pi Accessories

  • USB RS232/422/485 Modules
Range of modules supporting conversion from USB to a range of commonly used serial interfaces such as RS232, RS422, and RS485. Modules are based on the FTDI USB to serial converter ICs and support multiple channels.

  • Development Modules
Development modules supporting prototyping and development for FTDI USB devices. The development modules come in a range of compact form factors. The development modules can be used for product integration to enable USB connectivity within existing product designs.

  • Application Modules
A range of application modules based around FTDI ICs which offer a ready-to-use application modules that can be easily integrated into customer applications.

  • DLP Modules
FTDI also supply and distribute a range of connectivity modules developed by DLP Design. Many of the products are based around FTDI USB ICs and offer connectivity to RF/RFID, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, MCUs, I/O interfaces as well as offering USB adapters and development boards.

  • 3rd Party Modules
FTDI works with third party companies in order to supply a range of development modules based around FTDI ICs which offer ready-to-use application systems that can be easily integrated into customer applications
